• A current fan theory states that the 'CX' in CX61 Flechette Rifle stands for Captain Xavious, animator of most of the weapons in Sergeant Kelly's Recolors Pack. So far Captain Xavious has neither confirmed or denied this theory.
• The CX61 is modeled by Azarael based on his own design.
